RSCRevolution 2 Just Launched a Fresh RuneScape Classic Server and It's the Real Deal
If you played RuneScape Classic back in the day and never got over RS2 replacing it, this one's for you. RSCRevolution 2 just launched REV2, a completely fresh RuneScape Classic server rebuilt from the ground up. Every highscore unset. Every achievement unclaimed. Every title up for grabs. Day one. This isn't a replacement for the original RSCRevolution server. REV2 is a separate fresh start with its own economy, its own leaderboards, and its own race to the top. ## What Makes REV2 Different The team stripped out all the custom gear and bolted-on systems that a lot of private servers add over time. No custom equipment, no equipment tab, no systems that weren't in the original game. If you quit when RS2 launched and remember what Classic actually felt like, this is built for you. That said, they did add quality-of-life stuff that makes sense: auto-walking, bank tabs, a fully rebuilt client, refined banking, and in-game guides. The gameplay and especially PvP plays like original RuneScape Classic. Just smoother. N0m, one of the original developers behind RSCRevolution's early success, came back as co-founder and developer on REV2. That's a good sign for anyone who remembers the server's best era. ## The Economy REV2 is going hard on economic transparency. Every trade can be followed from your browser in real time. The server is designed with replica-accurate drop rates and avoids anything that could create quick wealth or disrupt balance. No areas with excessive drop rates, no bonus NPCs, no shortcuts. They want the economy to develop naturally and stay stable long-term. For a Classic server, that matters. Half the fun of RSC was the player-driven economy, and it only works if the devs don't undermine it with inflated drops. ## Optional Subscriptions REV2 is free to play at its core, but there are optional Gold and Platinum subscription tiers that stack together. Subscribers get XP multipliers, longer AFK timers, faster chat, and slower fatigue rates. Free players start at 4x combat and 2x non-combat XP, while stacking both subscriptions can push that to 6x combat. Subscriptions are per-character, not per-account, so you choose where to invest. ## 750+ Achievements The achievement system has over 750 entries, and the first player to complete each one gets permanent recognition. Your name gets announced server-wide and it never gets taken away. If you're the type who likes being first, this is your window. The server is brand new and the leaderboards are wide open. ## Who Is This For? If you've been chasing that RuneScape Classic nostalgia and every other option felt off, REV2 is worth a look. Mobile support on Android means you can grind anywhere. The fresh economy means everyone starts equal. And the no-custom-content philosophy means it actually plays like the game you remember. Last Epoch Season 4 Is Here and It Might Be Their Best Season Yet
Last Epoch Season 4: Shattered Omens is live, and Eleventh Hour Games packed a lot into this one. New encounter type, an item corruption system, new Rogue skills, a pinnacle boss, 9 new Uniques, 15 new Set items, and a reworked Monolith system. For a game that some people still sleep on, this is a seriously loaded patch. ## Omen Windows The headline mechanic. As you move through Eterra, Omen Windows pop up as random encounters. A ring appears on the ground, enemies flood in, and a powerful Omen empowers them from the center. Kill enough enemies inside the ring to fill the progress bar and the Omen becomes vulnerable. Leave the ring and a 10-second countdown starts. Hit zero and you fail the encounter. It's a simple concept but the execution is intense, especially at higher tiers. There are five difficulty tiers, and the rewards scale hard. Omens drop Timeglass Fragments, Runes of Corruption, Corrupted Items, and the new Omen Idols. The Monolith also gets Echo Chains now. These are sequences of themed echoes that build toward a Greater Omen Window at the end, where you fight two Omens at once across the full echo. That's where the best loot is. ## Item Corruption Runes of Corruption drop from Omens and let you modify gear at the Forge. The catch: once you corrupt an item, it can never be modified again. Corruption can roll the item better, worse, or even transform it into entirely new subtypes that only exist through corruption. It's a real risk/reward system. You can turn a good item into a great one or brick it completely. Players who like gambling on crafting are going to love this. Players who don't are going to have some painful moments. ## New Rogue Skills Rogue got two new skills this season. Bladestorm got promoted from a passive node on Umbral Blades to a full standalone skill with its own 25+ node skill tree. It throws spinning blades at a target location, hitting enemies 3 times per second for 4 seconds. You can have up to three storms active at once. Cold conversion, Shuriken interactions, and a movement speed variant are all in the tree. Shadow Rend is a high-cost delayed attack that interacts with the Rogue's Shadows mechanic. Works with both melee and bows, which gives it some interesting build flexibility. ## Vision of the Observer New pinnacle boss. You need 400+ Corruption in the Monolith to access it via the Fractured Prison. Difficulty sits between Aberroth and Uber Aberroth. If you've been farming Corruption and looking for a new wall to bang your head against, here it is. ## Idol Altars Small but meaningful addition. Idol Altars sit above your Idol Grid and change the layout, introducing Refracted Slots that buff the Idols inside them. You can get 10-50% increased effect on prefixes or Weaver Enchantment affixes. It adds another layer of build optimization without being overwhelming. ## What's Coming Next Eleventh Hour Games has already teased Season 5 and the free Orobyss expansion coming later in 2026. The expansion adds new campaign zones, dungeons, a pinnacle boss, chase uniques, and the first Paradox Class, a new type of class built on entirely different systems. The PS5 version launches alongside it. Season 4 retention is reportedly running about twice as strong as previous seasons at the same point in the cycle. If that holds, Last Epoch is building real momentum heading into the expansion.

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5 Is the Update That Could Change Everything
GGG just confirmed that the full 0.5.0 reveal is coming at the end of this month. Path of Exile 2 has been in early access for over a year now, and this is the patch that's supposed to fix the biggest complaint players have: the endgame. They're calling it "a pretty huge update." Given what's been confirmed so far, that tracks. ## The Endgame Is Getting Rebuilt This is the headline. The Atlas mapping system is getting a full overhaul. Structured questlines, guided objectives like locating Citadels, better narrative framing, and way more player agency in choosing what content you run. Right now the endgame feels directionless for a lot of players. You hit maps and just... grind. 0.5 is supposed to change that with meaningful Atlas passives, reduced RNG in mechanic spawning, new maps, and new encounter variety. If GGG actually delivers on this, it fixes the single biggest reason people have been bouncing off the game after the campaign. ## New League Incoming 0.5 will launch with a fresh league and economy reset. No character wipes, but your existing characters migrate to Standard. New league mechanic hasn't been revealed yet, but it's coming with the late April announcement. For anyone who dropped off during Fate of the Vaal, a new league is the perfect on-ramp. Fresh start, new mechanic, and a completely reworked endgame to explore. ## New Class and Weapon Type GGG has confirmed a new class is in the pipeline for 2026, and they've talked about improving melee gameplay and adding new weapon types. No official announcement yet on what ships with 0.5 specifically. The late April reveal should confirm what's included. ## Where Things Stand Right Now Let's be honest about the numbers. PoE 2 peaked at 578k concurrent players on Steam when early access launched in December 2024. The current playerbase is way down from that peak, and the Fate of the Vaal league got mixed reception. But that's kind of the point. 0.5 is GGG's answer to everyone who said "I'll come back when the endgame is fixed." If the rework lands, expect a big player spike. If it doesn't, the road to 1.0 gets a lot harder. Steam reviews are at 75% positive across 89k reviews. The foundation is there. The campaign is genuinely great. The combat feels incredible. It's the endgame loop that needs the work, and that's exactly what 0.5 is targeting. ## The Road to 1.0 ExileCon 2026 is happening November 6-8 in New Zealand. GGG hasn't confirmed the 1.0 release date yet, but that's widely expected to be the venue for that announcement. 0.5 is a critical step in getting the game ready. The reveal drops late April. We'll have full coverage when it does.
