About Phase 1
Phase 1 marks the launch of Mists of Pandaria Classic, introducing the mysterious continent of Pandaria and raising the level cap to 90. Players explore lush new zones including Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, Krasarang Wilds, Kun-Lai Summit, Townlong Steppes, and Dread Wastes.
The three launch raids release on a staggered schedule: Mogu'shan Vaults opens first, followed by Heart of Fear three weeks later, and Terrace of Endless Spring two weeks after that.
The Pandaren race becomes playable for both factions, and the Monk class offers a new hybrid role capable of tanking, healing, or DPS. Pet Battles provide a casual side activity for collecting and battling companion pets.
