Quality of Life Updates
The QoL updates might matter more than the class for longtime players.
Loot filters are finally built into the game. No more third-party tools or watching items flash on the ground during Chaos runs.
Stackable stash tabs for gems and runes are in too. Anyone who's been managing mules for years knows how big this is.
The Chronicle is a new system that tracks every unique and set item you've found across all characters. Basically a built-in Holy Grail tracker that shows where and when you found each piece.
Endgame Content
- Colossal Ancients — New uber fight that scales with party size. Solo players can finally participate.
- Terror Zone updates — New density options and the ability to choose which zones to run
- Sunder Charm rework — Less mandatory for endgame builds, more of a choice
New Items
Over 30 new items are coming with this expansion, including new uniques, runewords, and class-specific gear for the Warlock.
- 8 new runewords designed for mid-game progression and endgame builds
- Warlock-specific items including orbs, tomes, and demonic fetishes
- New unique charms with build-defining stats
- Set items that synergize with the new Terror Zone mechanics
Blizzard also added new base item types across all classes, giving more options for crafting and runeword builds.
